Summer vacation is quickly coming to an end :-O Only one week left now. But there's Versailles' live at C.C Lemon Hall to look forward to before that, and we've been doing lots of fun stuff we normally don't have much time to do :D Getting to explore a little more of Tokyo too. There's so many parts of the city I don't know at all, even though I've lived here for a year now (Again, normally there's not much time to do any exploring). The place I used to live in, out in the inaka of Chiba-ken, was pretty much just a main road going through the place, with all the stores scattered along it. And the surrounding areas consisting of rice fields. Didn't take very long to get from one end to the other...

We're starting to get better at remembering to take purikura when we're out......

I'd been meaning to visit Odaiba for a while, but it always got postponed. Finally got the chance to go there, and walked by a purikura booth...

There are several ways of getting to that island, but one of them is by the elevated monorail train :D I really like the monorail, and kinda wish all trains here were like that. But I guess it would create a chaotic traffic scenery? I wish at least the Yamanote-sen was elevated. That'd be cool.

Today was spent in Ikebukuro and Shinjuku. Mostly just walking around, but we did remember to take a bunch of pictures there too :D

We were... half-way into making a heart? lol. Everything happens too fast with these machines x)

Also, my sleeping pattern is getting all messed up again.... I thought I would try and keep it to normal hours since my vacation was fairly short, but lately I haven't been able to go to sleep until the sun is about to come up. Will have to try and make a real effort to break that pattern soon, as I'll have to start getting up at 5am again next Monday. And it's already in the middle of the night now :x

We really are :D

I go by train for the first 30min, and by bus for the last 90~120min (<-- depends on the traffic). Have to be on my way to the train sometime between 6:00 and 6:30, so 5:00 is the latest I can get up if I want to put on make-up and straigthen my hair etc.

I've always been bad at going to bed at decent hours even when I'm not on vacation ^^; It's just that it feels more natural for me to sleep from about 6 in the morning; been like that since I was a kid. At least it's not as bad as it was last year, when I kept going to bed at 9am...
I think the main problem right now is that I'm doing stuff most days, and when I get home sometime past midnight, I still have to feed and play with my cat, check emails and other stuff, instead of going to bed at once.

Wow, you have to travel a lot to get there. Do you have an apartment then or do you live in the student dormitory? I'm guessing the first one, because dorm would be closer to the college, I think. Sorry that I ask so much, but I'm very curious person by nature. :/

Omg going to sleep that late/early in the morning really sounds bad. I hope you'll be able to get your sleeping pattern to normal quickly, although it's hard. :/

I was the one who chose to move to Tokyo rather than staying in the same area as the school, so I shouldn't complain. And I think it's worth it.

I have my own apartment. My school doesn't have dormitories, but I'm pretty sure I'd live in my own place anyway. Wouldn't want to worry about curfews and stuff. (And I've heard some horror stories about badly maintained dorms in this country... Plus the rule about not having guests in your room. And god forbid it's a guest of the opposite gender, be it your brother even)

Eh, I see what you mean. Dormitories there seem to be pretty strict (from what you said). Sounds like they're very different from what we have here.
Here only dorms for high school students have curfews. College students are free to do whatever they want (in different dorms). We get the key of the building, because the doors lock automatically when closed. And I stayed in my brother's room overnight a few times (he and his roommate were on the female floor last year, haha) without any problems. We're just supposed to not make a lot of noise during night (ilke blasting music really loud) or guard (I think?) comes knocking to your doors. Sorry that I gave you some unneccessary information. XD
