I had so much fun at this live! (^^) With only three bands performing, each one of them had more time on stage than usual, and there was an opportunity for a big session at the end of the event.

Megaromania has always had a big following, but has gotten even more popular lately, so most people who showed up were Megaro fans. So I was surprised to find out they wouldn't be the last band playing, but it gave us a chance to relax outside the hall between Art Cube and DIAURA with almost no people around, since everyone were inside the hall. And omg, Sui (vocals) has changed o.O None of us recognized him, and had to double check with their poster to know it really was them (There's a window between the two rooms, allowing us to sneak some peeks at what was going on on stage without having to actually go inside)

Art Cube was up first, so we only had to wait the 30 minutes between doors opening and the live to start for them to come on stage, which is a rare occurence and kinda nice. Most of the time we have to wait for 5 hours or so.

1. 虹化鏡 (kougekyou)
2. Pain~ Wing・・・
3. 花陽影 (hanahikage)
4. Blue Heaven
5. Breath of Mind
6. Soaring awakening
6. 失楽蝶 (shitsurakuchou)

Kougekyou was a very good choice to open with. They often do Rengechuu, or some other song without any furi, and it's a little awkward and boring just standing there without doing anything.  I think it leaves a better impression on those seeing them for the first time too, if they'd start out with a heavier song. With Kougekyou, we could go directly for headbanging, which was a fun surprise. The setlist overall was quite good :)
We had been waiting for them to do Blue Heaven again as we're trying to give life to the old furi. We kinda failed since it's been so long, but at least we provided entertainment for the guys on stage ^^; We'll get the hang of it eventually.
Breath of Mind is a new song, part of the SHOXX omnibus CD which is released this month. We got to hear the beginning of it three times, as Shizuki kept messing up the rhythm and they had to stop and start over several times. I don't think it was completely his fault though. They were using the venue drumset today, rather than the usual two bass set. All the bands were using this one bass drumset, and they all had trouble with the drum rhythm and had to start a couple of songs over again. Anyway, Breath of Mind was good when they eventually managed to play it :) Looking forward to hearing it again when I receive my CD (Already ordered it, so I'm just waiting for it to arrive).

Not unexpectedly, Seiji messed up the MC completely again. I wonder if he prepares his MCs at all.... He had trouble reading the notes taped to the monitor in front of him (complaining about things written in kanji rather than hiragana), forgot a lot of the things he was supposed to say; When announcing the name of the event too, lol. "Today is Explosion.... errr... Explosion....ummm. Please ask the next band". He then proudly mentioned the keitai straps they're selling again. They haven't had any new goods for ages, so he's happy to finally have something to say regarding that again, mentioning how he ended up talking about Versailles' goods instead of AC's previously because they didn't have anything themselves. For the upcoming oneman, he told us to bring our grandparents along (But to please also bring some younger people), and introduce them to a new form of visual kabuki.

The hall quickly filled up when Art Cube were done, and we went outside to get our drinks, buy tickets for the forthcoming oneman etc. for a little while. And while waiting for DIAURA to start, I got the chance to take a picture of something on Art Cube's goods table. Seiji made a nice photo of himself advertising the new keitai straps x)

The straps are macarons, and he made them, hence the "French chef" look I assume. Hope we'll never have to see Seiji with an actual moustache like that, lol. I also noticed that they keep the straps in the new Moi dix Mois tote bag behind the table...

DIAURA susprised me. I knew the vocalist, yo-ka, from a band he was a part of back in 2008; Marely. They appeared at a live with THE VELVET back then, and I remember yo-ka shakingly coming up to me and my friends, asking shyly if we would be so kind as to fill out their anketo. Since then he's been in Valluna (which I don't think I ever got the chance to see), and now they've recently formed DIAURA (Today was their first live). And I really enjoyed their performance and music, and hope they'll play at more lives I'm going to.

After them, there was a session with all three bands, and the DIAURA fans were nice enough to let me and two other AC fans into the front row. Initially Art Cube appeared on the other side of the stage from where we were standing, and we had Megaromania in front of us (Sui paid no attention to where he was moving, and I got kicked in the head several times...) But AC quickly initiated that they should change places, and we soon had them in front of us instead (^^) By the look of it, the song they did was one of Megaromania's. Don't know which one, but it was a rather heavy song with lots of headbanging, jumping, as well as the kind of furi where we jump up over the barrier and hang there while the people behind us throw themselves into us (While we're trying to headbang at the same time. Complete chaos). I had so much fun, I wish they'd have done more songs.

Next live is coming up already tomorrow, although not Art Cube but THE VELVET this time :) It's in Kagurazaka, where I've never been before. But MiMi said the livehouse is close to the station, so hopefully that means none of us (including him) will get lost out there. And I hope people will show up... The place is a bit out of the way, and the way of getting tickets was more of a hassle than usual. They're not playing until 19:55 though, so that should leave people with enough time to get there at least.

Kougekyou is one of my favorite songs, I can imagine that at a live it would start the mood perfectly.
*covers face* I lost track of keeping an eye on that magazine for whether or not there would be a new song. I should find it now, haha, it's worth it to hear.

Oh my goodness.... xD I probably shouldn't be so ammused by the advertisement photo. I can't stop looking at it, it's spectacular.
Have fun with The Velvet.

It's one of my favourite live songs, along with Pain Wing and False Prayer. And they haven't played it much lately, so it was fun :)

The photo is silly (as is the man who made it) x) Had to take a picture of it.

I hope they'll releae "Breath of Mind" in a future release. I really wanted to pre-order the SHOXX onmibus but I couldnt because it is a mail order and some other reasons ¬_¬

Most likely it will be part of a later release as well (With all the "best of" releases they're giving out...) But I guess you and other fans overseas could send an inquiry to Dual Core about it too.

This really sounds like a totally fun live! ^^
Long waiting is usually due to a lot of band playing and not knowing who plays when (awkward sentence >_<), I assume? But it's great you didn't have to wait for long. :)

We kinda failed since it's been so long, but at least we provided entertainment for the guys on stage ^^;
Well, since they didn't play False Prayer => no silly moshing for their amusement, so they had to do *something*. XD

I wonder if he prepares his MCs at all.... He had trouble reading the notes taped to the monitor in front of him (complaining about things written in kanji rather than hiragana)
lol Maybe he should at least try to read them before the live, if he's not the one writing them.

Haha, so he gets to boast about his straps! That's cute, imo. ^^ And he's totally right about that. :)
It's great they're selling them so fast!
But the pic is priceless! And yeah, the mustache look horrible on him, although funny! XD

and I remember yo-ka shakingly coming up to me and my friends, asking shyly if we would be so kind as to fill out their anketo
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! :)

The session sounds really fun, as well! It was nice of AC to switch places. But that with jumping on the barrier sounds kinda painful for those hanging over! (Although probably fun, if you don't get bruises from that. XD)

Yeah, often there are 8 or so bands playing, and if you have no interest in them whatsoever, it tends to get kinda boring to sit through them.

It might also have something to do with the combo of weird mustache + breasts...

Yo-ka was cute doing that. It certainly made me remember him.

The people who jump into you turn in mid-air, so they're hiting you with their backs. And when you're hanging over the barrier like that, you're sort of automatically padded, lol. So usually it's not too uncomfortable. Sui's giant boots hitting my forehead at the same time was more of a problem.

Oh wow, they really don't make any money with shows like that then... Even more if bands don't really have fans. :(

I forgot about his breasts... LOL But it'd be amusing to see him in process of trying to grow mustache like that! XD

I see... Here we just get hit (not with the backs), haha. XD But ouch, that guy really should've payed more attention to his movements. :(
